The College Library !!
We, that will include me, my team mates and our client, were discussing the common points of Our cultures. This was on one of the luncheons that we were having together. And as most common discussions within boys, the discussion drifted on to how we will be all vying for girls during college days.
It so happened, that the way we think is not much different from the way my Japanese colleagues think. That we all try to find an excuse to talk to a girl. Sometime we would make an excuse !!
And as one my teammate started to explain, about how the college library was one of the important places, I drifted on to my own college days. And contrary to what my teammate was explaining, I was thinking, that me or my friends or my branch mates were not much likely to be found in college library. (If at all we were to be found in college !!)
Especially, my Branch Mates !! The batch of 2004 Electronics & Communication !! We had our own records. Our lecturers used to say, and I quote
”While all branches go on mass bunk during lectures, your branch comes for lectures during mass bunk “
And just for example, we had attended a total of 7 classes in our 8th Semester. This was how ‘regular’ we were !! We would bunk our internal exams, just to celebrate a friend’s Birthday in the canteen. Sometimes we would take our lecturer also!!
Whereas, the college library, we used for the Photo Session on the last few weeks of our college life. People like us, who would never be found around a book, were picking up exotic books to take snaps around. And I still have those pics, which I go through when I want to travel back in time. There are times when I look back and think, I could have done things in a better way. But there is never a time, when I look back and say, I could have had a better College Life.
I think it was one of the Best phases of my life, if not THE Best !!
Hi Dude..nice one really travelled back to college memories…well I don’t know abt others we usually went to library either following some girl in junior betches or to search one to give a tight hit..most of the time of my college life was on the Dhaba outside the college campus with all crappy guys either seniors or Dhaba guys..but that was the awsome time I can’t ever forget…Now a day I always think to visit a dhaba for a cig. so I always carry a pack of it..nobody to give a company or to fight for a cig cost…Oh god is it possible to live that life again..I wish if I could……:)
