The Ride and The Destination!!
“It is the journey which is more important than the Destination”
I don’t know whose quote is the above statement. But I have been a strong believer in it, that too by experience. I have always found the journey to be more enticing, exciting and joyous compared to the destination. Over the weekend, I took a ride down somewhere. 450 Kms on a single day, yet the destination was nothing but a 2 hr nap by small man-made lake. But still, I came back satisfied.
The whole episode prompted me to think, is this the reason, why I don’t have a goal?? For I have been enjoying the journey, taking it as it comes??
I wonder whether the journey to the milestone is more important or the milestone itself is more important!!
In a maths test, it is the method, steps and formulae which which fetches more marks than the answer!!
