Whilst…many of us are thinking for disinvestment in the State Owned Companies of India (PSUs), as a solution for poor efficiency, and giving boost to the Indian economy, The US government is ‘nationalizing’ some of the biggest companies!! [I read in today's newspaper the 70% of GM will be owned by Govt of US of A]. By Nationalizing, I mean not only the investment, but the decision making control and process also moves in to the domain of the Government!!
Two sides of the same Coin??
Where was I, when the news broke in on 11th of May, 1998. I guess I was just plain stupid, not to register and appreciate the news.
I am proud of the people who made the (Smiling) Buddha Jayanti memorable, of the people who could do it without anyone knowing.
The people who could manage to keep things under the wraps, away from the prying eyes of the world.
I am proud of the Vision that some people had, way back in the 1940s and 1950s, to understand the need of the country from the perspective of the world, to understand what the world ought to do.
I am proud the way we stand united, when it comes to India and the respect it deserves as a Sovereign Nation, government after government, election after election.Of not signing the senseless document which achieves nothing but provide scope for the powerful to bully the weak.
I am proud of the people who took the bold decisions, inspite of their consequences.
And I hate all those nations of the world who have their double standards of hypocrisy, the biased understanding of the world peace, the tilted value of human life.

Whilst I should be trying to move out of my comfort zone, I have been fortifying my walls, again!! And once they have been fortified, I start building another wall within the perimeter.
Couple of years back, when the Oil prices were rising like temperature in some parts of the country, every other of the so called economist were crying. Somehow, the same economists cried when the Oil prices fell to their original value, and now when they are rising again, the economists are rejoicing.
I wonder why!!
What do I want?
I want to move into a state where I do not want anything more. I believe, that will be the state of being content and satisfied.
But, If I am satisfied and content, then what is the point of living?
