The Maddening Order…Again!!

We take the stairs to go down. Yes, the stairs, we do that once in a while. Everyone is going down, again in a single file. Keeping to their right…their on the next person. This happens until we stop. For some reason the chain of people is not moving. Everybody is waiting patiently. But hey, I can go down using the ample space on the left of me….but I don’t, no one does. We are all waiting patiently, for the space on the left of me, is for people to climb up…and not go down.
The file starts moving again…and alas…I am at the floor I wanted to be on !!!
The order is really Maddening !!
Isnt the maddening order the most apt title.
This post is so insightful; in more ways than one, it envelopes our daily lives. It reflects upon the sequence of events. Events in physical form and those of our minds.
Yet we follow sequence, yet we follow patterns, residing in the norms, the set rules. How very insightful.
